High Mountain Glacial Watershed Program

Imja Lake in Nepal has developed new icebergs since the summer 2012 expedition, September 2012

The goal of the High Mountain-Glacial Lake Program Community of Practice (CoP) is to improve knowledge, exchange information, and mobilize resources for applied research and multistakeholder-based action projects in the high mountains between researchers, practitioners, and planners in  the Hindu Kush-Himalaya, Andes, Central Asian, and other high mountain regions. This website will serve as a focal point, resource portal, social network, and news and notification service to the community.

A new website dedicated to the work of the High Mountain Glacial Watershed Program is currently under development and is expected by April 2013. Please refer to this page for continued updates on the program and information on the new website.
